Tiger Zoo
The World's Most Reliable Tiger Shark Encounter
Tiger Zoo is Fuvahmulah's most famous dive site and arguably the best place in the world for guaranteed tiger shark encounters. Located on the harbor side of the island, this site features a sandy bottom where tiger sharks cruise by regularly, often approaching divers closely.
What to Expect
- Multiple tiger sharks (typically 2-6 per dive)
- Close encounters within 5-10 meters
- Sandy bottom with scattered coral
- Occasional nurse sharks and reef sharks
Thresher Point
Dawn Encounters with Elegant Thresher Sharks
This cleaning station on the outer reef is where thresher sharks come at dawn to be cleaned by small fish. The elegant threshers with their distinctive long tails arrive in the early morning hours, providing breathtaking encounters in the blue.

Hammerhead Drop-off
Schooling Hammerheads in the Blue

Oceanic Manta Point
