1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Fuvahmulah Beyond's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Fuvahmulah Beyond provides a platform for booking travel experiences, accommodations, and packages in Fuvahmulah, Maldives. We act as an intermediary between travelers and local service providers including tour operators, guesthouses, and activity providers.

3. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment or deposit may be required at the time of booking.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • You will receive a confirmation email upon successful booking.
  • Prices may change without notice for unboooked services.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by service provider. General guidelines:

  • Experiences: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity. Less than 48 hours: 50% refund. No-show: No refund.
  • Accommodations: Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. 3-7 days: 50% refund. Less than 3 days: No refund.
  • Packages: Free cancellation up to 14 days before start date. 7-14 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: No refund.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making bookings
  • Ensure you have valid travel documents (passport, visa if required)
  • Arrive on time for booked activities and check-ins
  • Follow safety instructions provided by service providers
  • Respect local laws, customs, and the environment
  • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose

6. Travel Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you meet all travel requirements including valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance. Fuvahmulah Beyond is not responsible for any issues arising from failure to meet these requirements.

7. Liability Limitations

Fuvahmulah Beyond acts as a booking platform and is not directly responsible for the services provided by third-party operators. We are not liable for:

  • Acts of nature, weather conditions, or force majeure events
  • Personal injury or property damage during activities
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes by service providers
  • Loss of personal belongings

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Fuvahmulah Beyond or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Account Terms

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

10. Service Provider Terms

Service providers using our platform agree to additional terms including accurate listing information, prompt communication with guests, and compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maldives.
